ctmiv72 - 2007-06-22 16:01:19 You obviously have some other browser that you are using to post here with; goto Microsoft.com and re-download Internet explorer 7.0. Once downloaded goto SAFEMODE, uninstall, and then reinstall Ie 7. If it continues to fail in safemode, you may want to reinstall the Operating System. there are many known spyware and virus that intentionally keep the PC user from updating from Microsofts' website, in order to keep the security updates from reaching the PC user.

FORK T - 2007-06-22 16:03:30 Run a anti-virus scan first to see if something is preventing this. If you don't have an antivirus program then I'm going to recommend running the following two programs: Avast anti-virus (if you currently have a program on your computer uninstall it then install this one instead, it's free and better than most of the paid ones) and Hijack this (caution this can hurt your computer as well but will get rid of BHO which may be the reason why you're not getting your updates). Then try to redownload your updates.
mark_mertonuk - 2007-06-22 16:03:37 had same trouble went back to 6 no probs since
aujlvz472 - 2007-06-22 16:04:05 Don't bother get mozilla firefox instead
HammerDrill - 2007-06-22 16:23:41 Get mozilla firefox , then use that to download IE7.
Personally I prefer mozilla firefox and IE6 when I do need IE.
also for faster speed in loading pages I use www.opendns.com/start/
Keith J - 2007-06-22 16:33:23 Seriously dude, download FireFox 2.0.
It's far more secure than any version of IE...
Sounds like an incomplete or corrupt installation of IE7...
